THE HIGH ENERGY LABOLATORY is a part of the exhibition where scientific demonstrations on high voltage are conducted. The laboratory features the Tesla coil which is one of the most spectacular devices that are used in physics presentations. The Tesla coil can generate sparks with a length of up to several meters. When frequency modulated sequences are applied, electrical arcs vibrate the air and produce sound waves and music. The laboratory also features a Van de Graaff generator which produces several-meter-long sparks and enables the visitors to experiment with electrical charge.
